Volunteer Membership

To be a Volunteer member in any capacity it is necessary for you to be registered.

As a volunteer you are required to complete the Volunteer Registration Form. You are also required to apply for a "Working with Children Check" and obtain a "WWC Card" before you are permitted to commence volunteering with Special Olympics. There are a number of exceptions to the rule but generally all volunteers require the WWC Card.

The WWC Check has been introduced by the Victorian Government and application forms are freely available at most Australia Post Offices and for volunteers the check is carried out at no charge to the volunteer
